  • Polyethylene mulch technology for doubling the yield of cotton – maize system with weed control and water saving
  • The drip irrigation schedule and fertigation for variety and hybrids with pulses as intercrops in the inter space has been standardized.
  • Herbigation with residual herbicides to control post emerging weeds has been standardized.
  • Stale seed bed method of weed control for exhausting weed seed bank before cotton sowing has been standardized to reduce the weed pressure in cotton crop.
  • Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria like Azospirillum, Phosphorus solubilizing bacateria (PSB) and Facultative Methylotrophs from phyllosphere of cotton were isolated from cotton ecosystem and its compatibility with other bioagents were studied.
  • Short duration compatible intercrops to be grown with cotton were standardized to enhance the income and sustainability
  • Leguminous cover crops for weed smothering as tools in integrated weed management of Irrigated cotton .
